This is the first public open source release of WideStream Download Manager project. Starting from Alpha 2 WideStream became an open source application; its source code is released under artistic license. Alpha 2 release contains a lot of enhancements and new features such as fully functional FTP explorer - as well as a lot of optimizations and fixes to the functionality that was already in place in Alpha 1. This release contains a pre-compiled binary of WideStream Murray Alpha 2 that runs on Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003 and Vista with .NET Framework 3.5 installed. No installation for the WideStream itself is needed.
